The Catholic Worker seeks to live out Catholic social teaching through practising the Works of Mercy.\u00a0 The CW Farm and Mary House provisionally accommodates 20 individuals who have battled through horrific circumstances to reach the peace and safety which this CW community can provide. \u00a0We are helped in our work by Volunteers and Interns.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The CW Farm and Mary House provide:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">(a)A safe warm bed\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">(b)Access to showers, clothes, washing and cooking facilities<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">(c)Help with acquiring solicitors and medical care<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">(d)English lessons, Citizenship Classes and Psychotherapy<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">(e)Support with finding voluntary work<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">(f)Supportive, loving environment within which the guests can recover and work towards self-sufficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mission Statement The Catholic Worker Farm takes its inspiration from the International Catholic Worker (CW) movement founded by Dorothy Day in New York in the 1930\u2019s.
